Engine & Gearbox

Your engine, be it 4 or 6 cylinder is the heart of your Triumph. We have been working on these engines for the last 40 years. By either rebuilding to original spec or taking advantage of the numerous tuning options available. Balancing and lightening your engine will make it very responsive and smoother throughout the rev range. A choice of camshafts from fast road to race can be fitted to the engine. The TR engines benefit from cylinder head work such as porting and polishing and converting to unleaded. We can deal with carburettor problems and are also well versed in the fuel injection units and their problems. 

In regards to the Triumph gearbox, we rebuild the gearbox and overdrive to standard or high performance spec, with uprated driveshafts and fitting a limited slip differential into the rear axle. We also provide a 5 speed conversion, with gives the car a modern feel and performance.
